After graduating from Yale University, Dr. Chauser received his medical degree from Pittsburg University in Pittsburg Pennsylvania, and completed his internship at the Bowman Gray, School of Medicine. After graduation, he served as a general medical officer in the United States Public Health Service in San Pedro, California, and completed residency training in radiation therapy at the Zellerbach Saroni Tumor Institute in San Francisco, which was part of Mount Zion, now known as the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He then went on to become a National Cancer Institute Fellow in London, England. Upon his return to the states, Dr. Chauser served as associate radiotherapist in Burlingame, CA and then in San Francisco, CA before being appointed as the Director of Radiation Oncology at the Seton Medical Center in Daly City, CA.
Dr. Chauser holds a license from the National Board of Medical Examiners as well as a medical license in the state of California. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology (Therapeutic Radiology) and is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
